TCH-005 -Small Vacuum Oven for glove box

TCH-005 oven is specifically design to be use as part of MBraun Inc. dry glove box for professional, industrial or educational use for non flammable, volatile or combustible materials.

TCH-005 is designed for mounting on the rear wall of glove boxes. The front door opened inside the glove box. The back wall as well as bottom cover is meant for service access.

The vacuum chamber is made of stainless steel, box construction, electropolished, with internal heated shelf.

Two types of Vacuum Pumps may be used: oil vane-two stage pump or dry scroll pump.

A normally closed electromagnetic roughing valve permits holding a low pressure into the chamber when main power switch is OFF or during power failure. Electromagnetic vent valve permits venting with Dry Nitrogen direct from glove box.

Vacuum is measured using a thermocouple vacuum gauge digital controller. This type of gauge permits continuous measurement of the oven pressure from atmosphere to 5x10^-3 Torr.

Bottom heated shelf is made of low outgas stainless steel 304.The electrical connections of stainless steel tubular heaters are made outside the chamber.

Temperature controller has digital displays and front panel controls for inputting set point temperature, calibration and program configurations.

Built-in Over-Temperature Protection.

The Control unit of TCH-005 should be mounted separately, normally on the glove box roof, in a position permitting easy operation and observation.
