The Israel Cotton Production & Marketing Board Ltd. (ICB) has been established in 1956.

Israel is a small but intensified producer.

About 12,000 hectares yearly of mainly Extra Long Staple Cotton.

Production is fully mechanized.

Irrigation is based on recycled water.

No GMO cotton.

No Governmental subsidies for cotton in Israel.

All cotton is mechanically picked and roller-ginned. There are roller gins throughout the country so that the distance from the field to the gin does not influence the quality of the fiber from region to region.

Israel's cotton is exported, via the international trade, mainly to the Far East but also to India, Turkey, European markets and South America.
